LA GRANGE DE QUATRE SOUS

It is in Assignan, in the middle of vineyards and an ancient Roman road, that Hildegard Horat produces organic Pays d'Oc wines. Over the years, the eight hectares of the estate have been replanted and restructured with care and attention to detail, leaving room for a large number of grape varieties. The farm is worth the detour: in addition to the estate's cellar, the buildings on the premises are of very old origin, they probably belonged to the Knights of the Order of Malta. Its rich history was proven once again during the breaking up of the vineyards, during which archaeological remains were discovered (Roman villa, sarcophagi...).
