The first mention of the parish church of Adissan dates back to 1175, when it was a priory attached to the cathedral chapter of Montpellier. Romanesque, it was rebuilt in "pierre de l'étang", a local volcanic rock, in the 14th century and has since been an important testimony to the rural Gothic style in the area. It is made up of a single nave with two unequal bays, vaulted with ribbed arches, whose ribs fall on the sculpted bases, and ends in a pentagonal apse flanked by a bell tower. Extended in 1848, it was given a nave span and two additional side chapels. Worth seeing: the nave, the Romanesque bays, the baptistery in Roquebrun marble (1696), the shrine of Saint Philomena (1839) and the 19th century furniture.
