Near Alès in the south of France, the "Camp Galhan" estate looks after vines that are thirty years old. A good age for these fifty parcels classified as vin de pays du duché d'Uzès. Lionel Pourquier obtains excellent results from these 44 hectares of clay-limestone soil. At first a little reserved, when aired, the red wine offers a dense, well-developed palate, which expresses beautiful aromas of red fruit, black fruit and dates. The visit is also worthwhile for the white wine.
