In March of each year, the Meuh Folle festival has become one of the most important events in the Gard. It is a whole youth that is freeing itself. It all started in 2001, when a crazy idea crossed the mind of a handful of students at the Ecole des Mines d'Alès: to organise a music festival with an eclectic programme and groups of national and local renown with a "springboard" to launch a young regional group. La Meuh Folle is also an eco-responsible, local festival organized by 200 student volunteers. There is also a free camping for festival-goers with a breakfast on Saturday morning - a rare thing for a festival - and entertainment for a non-stop party
