This eco museum is setup in a tower of the medieval ramparts of the village and it showcases traditional crafts as well as the daily life of the inhabitants. It combines on three floors, tools and instruments of the past from Montagne Noire. At the top of the 20 metres high tower is a breath-taking panorama of the Pyrenees and an orientation table. Take not that at the time we completed the guide, the Vieux Metiers museum was schedule to reopen in spring 2014 with new activities and joint visits to the castle as well as a restaurant option at the end of the visit. We strongly recommend that you contact the city council before planning this small cultural journey.
