Former Cistercian abbey in Southern Languedoc Gothic style, listed as a historic monument, guest rooms on site.
Just 6 km from Saint-Martin-le-Vieil is the listed Villelongue Abbey. Built in 1180, this former Cistercian abbey is a perfect example of Southern Gothic architecture, typical of Occitanie. The monastic calm is barely disturbed by birdsong, the murmur of visitors and the echo of footsteps on the cobblestones. The garden adds to the charm and confidential atmosphere of the place. If you'd like to extend the experience, guest rooms are available within the abbey itself.

Abbaye de Villelongue
Ancienne abbaye cistercienne en grande partie ruinée dont subsiste une allée de l'ancien cloître et dont les jardins sont remarquablement plantés et entretenus.
