Le Puits du trésor is aptly named: located in a brownfield site on the banks of the Orbiel, this gastronomic restaurant has its Michelin star thanks to the talent of its chef Jean-Marc Boyer. With its huge fireplace and its incredible view of the castles of Lastours, the restaurant offers a cuisine with a Mediterranean flavour and a strong sense of escape and authenticity. According to the chef's creations and the seasons that punctuate them, the dishes liberate the senses and the imagination and reveal the treasures of the local harvest and the culinary art.

Très belle expérience dans un lieu charmant à seulement à 17mn de Carcassonne
Nous avons pris le menu découverte et le découverte commence dès les mises en bouche jusqu au café avec un accord de vin parfait pour chaque plat

Une Table qui mérite vraiment le détour et les 5 étoiles attribuées à la Cuisine, le Service et l’Ambiance et j’y ajouterais, un Accueil souriant et sympathique……. et dans le cadre d’une réservation Smartbox, ça n’est, franchement, pas toujours le cas !!!
La Cuisine est excellente en saveur, originalité et diversité.
Les plats amenés sur table sont commentés et ensuite laissés à la dégustation sans une oppressante présence derrière soi !
Tout le Personnel est bienveillant et discret.

I write this review enthusiastically since this restaurant was a great surprise. As its name says, it is a treasure. The surroundings of the restaurant are magnificent. The restaurant is well-decorated. The waiters were two very young guys who behaved magnificently despite their little experience. However, what really stands out is the food. Although each dish is very well presented, everything pales when we try them: Very defined and subtle flavors, with great harmony. Most of the vegetables are grown by the chef himself.
The 20-minute drive from central Carcassonne to Le Puits du Trésor is worth it.
