Old medieval village of Gruissan with its circular streets and unique view of the village
Discover this old medieval village with its circular streets. Winegrowers, fishermen and salt-makers have lived here for generations. Built on a steep rock, the château was constructed at the end of the 10th century to watch over the coast and protect the town. A century and a half later, the Archbishop of Narbonne consolidated the fortress and added a tower, called Barberousse. These remains offer a unique view of the village, the pond and the garrigue!
