The Leferrer couple knows the game, since Hervé was the manager of the Romanée-Conti estate in Burgundy. Installed in 1989, they cleared the land, prepared the plots and planted Syrah and Grenache for the reds, and Roussanne, Viognier and Muscat for the whites on this clay-limestone plateau. The vines feel at home here and the small, totally controlled production meets these very carefully studied consumption criteria: for the whites and rosés, early bottling to be consumed in their youth and, conversely, barrel ageing for the reds, storage for at least a year before being put on the market
