Discover the donkey farm and its charming donkeys. Production of donkey milk-based cosmetics. Free admission.

Since 2099, this wonderful family farm has been breeding an endangered breed of donkey: the Pyrenean donkey. As well as looking after their well-being and the reproduction of the species, the breeders promote the donkeys during three free guided tours (2pm, 3:30pm and 5pm). Educational and convivial, they will end with a tasting session. This will also be an opportunity to discover the full range of natural soaps and cosmetics made from donkey milk. You'll quickly be won over by their nourishing properties.

Open all year round. Low season: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm. High season: Monday to Saturday, 2pm to 6pm. Free guided tours in high season at 2pm, 3:30pm and 5pm. Free admission.

Owner's Message

Our small family farm located in Coursan, in the department of Aude, is a breeding ground for an endangered breed of donkey: the Pyrenean donkey. Since 2009, we have been breeding and developing our donkeys in various disciplines: pack, draught, harnessing, saddle. We are also dairy farmers and offer a complete range of natural soaps and cosmetics made from the organic milk of our donkeys.

The Asinerie du Rivage is also a place of welcome and exchange around free commented visits of the farm. The visits end with a moment of sharing with the tasting of the milk of our donkeys, our honey or the discovery of our range of soaps and cosmetics

We look forward to meeting you and telling you about our daily life with our animals.
