Beautiful house on the edge of the Canal du Midi and very close to the city centre.
A beautiful residence bordering Canal du Midi and which is very close to the city centre and where there is an atmosphere of calm and serenity. Even if most of the rooms would deserve a total makeover (except 5 new ones with Italian shower and elevator), they are clean, have bathroom and benefit from air conditioning, TV and safe. They offer an unobstructed view over the canal which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, or over the shady garden where it is pleasant to relax in summer. The hotel also has a room which is equipped with video, sound, internet... ideal for a family meeting or a business seminar. There is a store where there are bicycles that are available for cyclists. As far as leisure activities are concerned, the owners will advise about the tourist and hiking circuits available. The municipal swimming pool is only a few steps from the hotel and extension of the port of Castelnaudary arrives just in front and possibility to moor your boat. Beautification works are planned in 2018 as well as the creation of a cosy bar... we are looking forward.
