From the beginning of December, Carcassonne is decked out in its finest finery to celebrate Christmas. The city comes alive, decorates itself and rediscovers itself through small events and exhibitions. In the lower town, the Christmas market unfurls its chalets on Place Carnot, the eternal ice rink takes its place, and the illuminations launch the start of the enchantment. Roundabouts and giant toboggan runs are set up in the streets of the town, while nativity scenes from around the world take us on a journey of dreams... The Ferris wheel offers a breathtaking view of the Christmas magic unfolding at its feet.
