Château Capendu is located at the foot of Alaric historical mountain. It is a large vineyard, more than 125 hectares where we cultivate, on a diversity of unique soils, a series of varieties that make it possible to develop wines with different traits. It is found in foreground, Grenache, cinsault, thyme and Syrah, but also varieties that are now described as international varieties. The wine is made of 35% Sauvignon and 65% chardonnay and it is definitely the chardonnay that prevails in the dress, nose and mouth.

Very fine wines at discounted prices (3 to £5), allow at least 15€ to have equivalent wines in the Bordeaux region. Powerful wines (in the AOC Corbières), but fruity, I love the vintage prestige built in oak barrels. The vault is in the centre of the village and a warm welcome.
