Restaurant on the banks of the Canal du Midi, with terrace, offering seafood specialities.
On the way to Carcassonne you can stop off at the port of Bram for a gourmet break in a peaceful place on the edge of the Canal du Midi with a breathtaking view of the boats sailing on the canal. The restaurant l'Ile aux oiseaux offers fish and seafood specialities: oyster bar, plancha, salads, baked cheeses... You can sit down at leisure on the terrace with its duckboards or in the room that looks like a fishing hut.

Restaurant au bord du canal du Midi. Une grande terrasse ombragée. Un excellent repas avec comme plat des seiches à la plancha, des frites maison et une salade (24€). Apéritif, plat, vin et café : 35 €. Personnel attentif et chaleureux. Un lieu particulièrement agréable.

Délicieux ce magret accompagné de patates douces, avec une ambiance super sympha ce dernier jour de septembre. 2eme visite et je reviendrai.

Bien géré, très bonne nourriture et choix. Il est probablement préférable de réserver aux heures de pointe.
Nous étions huit et nous avons apprécié la nourriture, les boissons et l'ambiance et y avons passé une longue soirée.
Le personnel est attentif et clairement passionné par l'entreprise. Soutenu par un personnel de cuisine compétent et compétent.
La dame irlandaise est un personnage travailleur qui a définitivement des caractéristiques irlandaises.
J'y reviendrais si je reviens dans la région.

Located alongside the canal du midi, this is run by a hard-working Anglo Irish couple .
Well run , very good food and choices .It's probably best to book at busy times .
There were eight of us, and we enjoyed the food, drink,and atmosphere and spent a long evening there .
Staff are attentive and clearly passionate about the business . Backed up by knowledgable skilled kitchen staff .
The Irish lady is a hard working character who definitely has Irish characteristics .
I would revisit if I am in the area again .
