Beautiful property in the Minervois where you can stay in a bed and breakfast or in a gîte.
It is a very beautiful property of Minervois, about fifteen kilometres from Carcassonne, in which you can stay in a guesthouse or in a cottage. The five rooms receives you in a beautiful host house that could keep the charm of the old wine estates. Each of them is called after a city located in a different country: New York, London, Le Havre, Hong Kong or Marrakech. And each with its own decoration, New York in mouse grey and pale pink, Marrakech with fabrics with acidulous tones, Le Havre in blue and white... In the morning, you will be served a hearty breakfast and you can taste on bread or pastries, the homemade jams with seasonal fruits. The cottages are set in former wine houses and can accommodate from 1 to 6 people. They bear the names of the Aude grape varieties and remind us of the viticulture which the original activity of Château Borie Neuve: Syrah, Grenache, Merlot, and Muscat. In summer, you can enjoy the heated swimming pool of the property and relax on a long chair, in the quiet. The surrounding nature and the animals of the estate, goats, donkeys and horses, complete this bucolic painting. Wine lovers can discover the vintages prepared by Bruno Correia, the owner of the place, whose vault allows pleasant tastings. Definitely a good address in Pays Minervois!
