The Navarin Ossuary, a Unesco World Heritage Site, is home to the remains of 10,000 soldiers from the First World War.

The Navarin national necropolis, located in Souain-Perthes-lès-Hurlus, contains the remains of over 10,000 soldiers who fell in the fighting of the First World War in Champagne. Among them lie Generals Gouraud and Prételat. The battles of Champagne, particularly those of 1915 and 1918, are described, highlighting the relentlessness and considerable losses on both sides. The necropolis has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2023.
