The Bragards are the inhabitants of Saint-Dizier. The popular legend says François 1 er said «Ah the brave guys! " discovering their resistance during the siege of Charles Quint in 1544. Created at the city pastry confectioners initiative, Bragardise is a tasty sablé cake. Subtle mixture of cane sugar, flour, and butter, bragardise is perfumed with cinnamon and coconut. Sold per 200 g package, it is recommended to accompany desserts, aperitifs or champagne.
