LAC DE CHARMES

It is a 5.4 km valley located on the commune of Charmes-les-Langres which has been drowned to create this reservoir 197 hectares. With its dam and large body of water, it is conducive to strawberry. Bathing is monitored in July and August, 7 j/7. The véliplanchists enjoy their pleasure in canoe guided walks. There is also a water base (Changey Beach) which offers its services: canoes, rackets, pedal boats, raspboats and motor boats… Fishing is also a good one, with sandres, pips, carps and silures. On the west basin, a path has been developed for hikers. This lake is the longest of the four around and its particularity is that two roads cross it in its width.
