LAC DU TEMPLE

With nearly 2,000 hectares of calm water and a vast forest estate open to fishing, small sails and daydreaming, and a large part destined for the Nature Reserve, which is closed to the public, the Lac du Temple is an invitation to relax and daydream. Information, fishing cards and regulations are available from the Departmental Fishing Federation (✆ 03 25 73 35 82). Raise your eyes a little and soon you will also discover a bird paradise, where only the lapping of the water manages to break the silence. Here, windsurfing boards, small dinghies and canoes are king. The Lac du Temple has two slipways: le Caron (commune of Radonvilliers) and Pogain (commune of Piney). On the water, as when going up the forest paths that border the lake, silence is golden and speed is limited... Here, motors are forbidden. Various hiking trails allow you to discover the richness of this territory, in search of the different forest species or its inhabitants (information at the intermunicipal tourist office).
