CAMILLE CLAUDEL MUSEUM
A museum with a light-filled space, with sculptures looking out towards the bays, presenting a magical place
This museum was eagerly awaited, and visitors are not disappointed. Bathed in light, the building exudes the sculptor's soul. 1,000 m2 to showcase a lifetime's work. Camille Claudel may have long been overshadowed, but here, at the foot of the family home, she is well and truly rehabilitated. The museum opens on contemporaries, including Alfred Boucher, who was the first to spot her talent. 200 sculptures sketch the artistic scene in which Camille Claudel evolved, before unfolding all the stages of her career. Marbles, plasters, bronzes... Everything catches the eye, right down to these sculptures with their gaze turned towards the bays. The ticket is valid for the day, so don't hesitate to go there, stroll around the town and then take a last look at this magnificent place at night. Revenge for the woman who had gold in her hands...

Merci ! J’y reviendrai
De nombreux artistes sculpteurs sont mis à l'honneur.
Le travails des marbres est remarquable. Un petit détour qui vaut la peine quelques pièces uniques sont chargées émotionnellement. A découvrir.
