Restaurant concocting a traditional and family cuisine with fresh products
This is a small, unpretentious inn serving traditional, even family-style cuisine. But Sophie's claim to simplicity doesn't mean she can't offer quality: she buys from local producers to ensure her produce is fresh and as organic as possible. This choice, which also leads her to reduce the menu, does not hinder her creativity. Inspired by her many travels, she likes to infuse her dishes with Asian influences and Mediterranean accents. A lovely little address where you'll be pampered by pleasant service.

This was an extraordinary culinary experience. When you enter the restaurant, it seems homely. None of the chairs or tables match; there are only two menus written on black boards (since the menu changes practically every day); there was a child on a couch watching cartoons on a laptop; there was a dog on the floor, just taking a nap. It felt like a nice local inn, but nothing could prepare me for how delicious the food is going to be. Every single dish that came out completely boggled my mind, both in looks and in how the tastes exploded in my mouth. The entrees, the main dishes, the dessert, all were just perfect in every way, beyond anything imaginable. Am I exaggerating? No. This was undoubtedly one of the greatest culinary experiences I've ever had in my life. There was a beautiful selection of wine to go along with this mesmerising food. If you're looking to have a place permanently rest in your mind as one that you'll eternally recommend to everyone you meet, this is the one. Please, do yourself a favour and visit.

A l'occasion de la visite du château de Fougères sur Bièvre, nous recherchions un restaurant pour déjeuner. Nous avons découvert par hasard l'Herbe Rouge, et ne le regrettons pas. L' accueil est chaleureux, la carte est élaborée avec des produits locaux et de saison, et de très bons conseils sont fournis sur les vins pouvant accompagner nos choix. Les plats étaient aussi beaux à regarder que savoureux à déguster, avec, entre autres, un moelleux au chocolat succulent. Enfin, le cadre est très agréable avec une terrasse ombragée. Nous recommandons ce restaurant, en vous conseillant de réserver avant, car il est visiblement très prisé.

Superbe restaurant. En pleine campagne proche de Blois, un accueil agréable et simple, une terrasse a mis chemin entre bistrot de campzgbe et guinguette, une cuisine succulente et raffinée cependant sans chichi. Et l'ensemble de la carte des vins sont des vins naturels, ce qui est rare et donc mérite d'être noté. Le vin que nous avons dégusté au verre était tout simplement parfait et succulent. On reviendra cet hiver pour tester l'ambiance intérieure, mais sans nul doute, ce sera parfait.
