The Leclairs have something for everyone: sauvignon, gamay, cabernet, côt, pinot noir, pineau d'Aunis and chenin for the traditional method; only grolleau and chardonnay are missing, to give you the full range of Touraine grape varieties. François Leclair produces a dozen cuvées from his 45-hectare vineyard. Of particular note is his Prestige du Vigneron, a structured, round and velvety semi-secret wine, a blend of côt and cabernet, and his Fleur de Printemps, a lovely blend of gamay and pinot noir fruit. 2008 was undoubtedly a good vintage for the cellars, as the Touraine Gamay AOC 2008 (Gold Medal at the Concours Régional de Selles-sur-Cher) won numerous other awards.
