A fairytale castle with towers that enhance this magnificent residence, which stands out on a hillside on the banks of the Cher, and a welcome and service worthy of its magnificent setting, transport you back to the era of beautiful princesses and charming princes. Its small courtyard with its stone fountain and covered galleries are imbued with a charm that takes us back to bygone days. The cuisine is convivial and simple, served around a brazier on the terrace in the evening or in the magnificent Gothic-style dining room at lunchtime.

The restaurant alone is worth the stay at Chateau de Chissay. The food, service & ambiance are in keeping with the quality the French expect of restauration. I had an amazing dinner—everything came together in harmony. The photos don’t do the meal justice (my phone only has 2 cameras, not 12, so low light is a challenge).

Une bonne table où manger des bon plats français, le service est excellent et agréable. Les plats sont très bons.
A remarquer que les prix ne sont pas forcément accessibles pour tous.
Je recommande si vous avez envie de manger dans un lieu qui sors de l'ordinaire.
