This bakery with its cheerful green front has been installed in the heart of Pithiviers for over a century! In addition to a wide selection of seed breads, sandwich loaves and other specialities with a crispy crust, Christine and Stéphane Maréchal are renowned for their cakes, which are gourmet to perfection! The almond cake won first place in the competition for the best almond cake at the Pithiverais in 2018. Every year, at the Epiphany, the bakery brings in beans specially created for the occasion.

The pithiviers specialists, who have obtained the label "the authentic pithiviers"! Whether flaky and based on almond cream (not to be confused with the galette des rois), or melting with an icing covered with candied fruit, this cake, which originated in the commune and was invented in the 17th century, attracts the covetousness of locals and people passing through.
