SPINNER'S ROCK
One of the most beautiful natural sites in the department. From the rock rocks located on the right bank of Creuse, you discover the panorama of the ruins of Crozant Castle, located in Creuse, on their rocky spur surrounded by two rivers, la Creuse and Sédelle. You can reach this landscape after a pleasant walk in the small trails lined with dry stone muds. To explain the name of this rock, it is said that every year a competition brought together the girls of the land. They had to get the wool from the famous rock. A legend says that the girl whose spindle was touching the water first without the thread breaking had the chance to marry the son of the lord or one of his companions and be richly endowed. Today, girls use much more solid yarns because the Filmmaking Rocher is a school of climbing.
