This observatory is located on the edge of a private pond near the hamlet of Blizon. It's one of the oldest ponds. it is covered with lilies. You can admire one of the last great rostrums in Brenne. There is a large colony of herons that nest on the spot. Birds that can be observed on this pond include many species of ducks, herons and magnets. Walks accompanied by the Maison de la Nature de Saint-Michel in Brenne. The Blizon Trail also allows you to discover this place alone.

Observatoire de l'étang Massé 36300 Rosnay
L'Observatoire de l'Etang Massé se situe à proximité immédiate du hameau du Blizon. Un petit circuit très bien indiqué vous permet de rejoindre l'Observatoire après une petite promenade en forêt. Le retour est prévu en longeant l'étang Valmicky sur lequel une passerelle a été installée pour vous permettre une promenade originale. Même si l'horaire et la période de l'année n'étaient pas forcément les plus propices pour voir beaucoup d'oiseaux, j'ai beaucoup apprécié la balade comme l'observation dans cette cabane aménagée où le rôle de guetteur m'a bien amusée.
