MERCATINI DI NATALE

In Friuli Venezia Giulia, there are dozens of Christmas markets. The one in Palmanova is the largest, with 150 exhibitors. In Trieste, the chalets are set up in Piazza Sant'Antonio, in front of the Canal Grande. In Spilimbergo, they invade the medieval streets. In the mountains, the Christmas markets have a special character: the snow has already covered with its white coat the wooden huts in the beautifully lit squares that sell, in addition to beautiful handcrafted wooden objects, gastronomic specialties of the region.
