DÍA DE LA ALMADÍA

A traditional celebration celebrated every year in Burgui, in the Roncal valley, which honours the «wooden trains», old boats that allow the transport of timber on the rivers of Navarre. In memory of this tradition today, several wooden trains are launched on the waters of Escap and travel a journey of 5 km to the medieval bridge of Burgui. The day continues with a popular lunch, a artisanale, dancing and traditional music demonstrations, etc.
