COMMUNAUTE EMMAUS DE VAUCLUSE
Read moreIf you want to "make the cleaning", don't hesitate to get rid of everything that doesn't serve you anymore but can service others: appliances, furniture, clothes… A truck spends several times a week on Avignon. For other municipalities, the association operates by sector.
LES RESTOS DU CŒUR
Read moreIt would be wrong to think that the Restos du Coeur only distribute food aid. Employees and volunteers act in various ways: daily marauds in Marseille, emergency reception in a centre in Aubagne (20 beds), integration workshops, assistance with returning to work, cultural and leisure activities (debates, cinemas, libraries), welfare assistance (hairdressing and beauty services). Les Restos du Coeur de Marseille is constantly looking for volunteers to welcome people and distribute food, but also for drivers and companions to deliver the 42 centres in the department and strengthen the mobile teams in the street.
SECOURS CATHOLIQUE
Read moreThe delegation on the Diocese of Marseilles is divided into three territories: north, south, is (from Ciotat to Gréasque). The network is close to 500 volunteers accompanied by 9 employees, a high potential that makes the 19 places of reception alive. 4 of them are especially open to homeless people, migrants, leavers and sick persons without social security coverage. The charity's charitable mission remains unchanged: aid for people living in poverty. Actions: day reception, night bus, soup kitchens, street tours, socio-cultural animations in the neighbourhoods, school support, administrative accompaniment. In Aubagne, a boutique shop sells cheaper fashion clothing and accessories.
HOSPITALITÉ POUR LES FEMMES
Read moreThis association, created in 1885, was recognized as being of public utility four years later. Its missions are multiple. First of all, the spontaneous reception of people in emergency situations, without housing and seeking asylum. In this sense, the structure provides for the reception of young children with their mothers. But beyond this "simple" reception mission, the HPF offers training and courses in order to set up social and professional reintegration. The same is true for people with disabilities, through various integration projects.
EMMAÜS POINTE-ROUGE
Read moreCreated in 1957 by Abbé Pierre, Emmaus, also known as the Emmaus companions, is an association that we (unfortunately) still need more and more, in a city like Marseille as well as everywhere in France. The scourge of precariousness, linked to the feeling of isolation, is an evil that must be fought on a daily basis and for this reason, the hundreds of volunteers in Marseille who are mobilized in the various centers and some stores in the city are more active than ever. In this center located in the Pointe-Rouge district, there is a space dedicated to donations, which you can make for clothes as well as furniture or toys, and a sales space open to all.
