Linked to the one of Molines, the ski area of Saint-Véran offers the largest area of Queyras. The ESF offers a full range of services on the resort's slopes, adapted to the age and level of each skier. At an altitude of 1,500 m, in a wild mountain setting, the village resort of Aiguilles-en-Queyras and the Haut-Guil valley offer a number of slopes to suit all levels. In Aiguilles, a play area with modules for beginners, play areas, a large Air Bag and an original toboggan run. For downhill skiing, head for Abriès and the Haut-Guil ski area (16 runs). For Nordic ski enthusiasts, there are trails leading to Abriès and Ristolas, the lookout point for Mont Viso. Free-riders are also in for a treat.

The "tele-feric" gondolas literally take us off, as we are offered a 2,150 m climb in 45 minutes to reach the summits! From La Grave, this exceptional and vertiginous equipment gives access to the high mountain with its two sections from 1,400 m to 2,400 m and from 2,400 m to 3,200 m. And two summit lifts lead to 3 550 m in winter. If the weather conditions do not prevent it, a connection is then possible in both directions with the big resort of Les Deux-Alpes. And if your technical level allows it, you will soon enjoy one of the largest off-piste skiing areas in Europe. A freerider's paradise. Formed nearly 40 million years ago, the sandstones of Annot arouse for various reasons a growing interest on the part of sportsmen admiring this unique geological manifestation in the region. The grandiose aspect of these cliffs dominating the village leaves no one unmoved... The sandstone benches can reach 250 metres in thickness! For walkers, take the marked path and discover these unusual rocks and the flora that surrounds them. As for the climbers, they will find nearly 150 equipped routes.

The Ministerial committee is the decentralized organisation of the French mountain federation and climbing for Bouches-du-Rhône. There is a myriad of clubs and sites in our region to practise safely. After a 40-minute walk from the town center, you'll enjoy an exceptional panorama and 2h30 of exploration on the rock.

From mid-January to the end of March, the Train des Alpes du Sud (Southern Alps Train) will take you to 23 resorts in the Southern Alps every Saturday and Sunday (except during school holidays) from Aix-en-Provence. This is a great initiative by the Region, in collaboration with TER SNCF, which allows the inhabitants of the Aix-en-Provence region to enjoy the snowy slopes or simply the beauty of the mountains. It's a combined ticket (train and shuttle) that takes you to the resort of your choice.

Pelvoux-Vallouise is a pleasant village resort at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park. 6 lifts including 2 chairlifts, a vertical drop of 1,050 m, 18 runs including 1 lit for night skiing and 1 snowpark. If the motivation is not always at its peak during this cold season, here is an activity that should change your mind: cross-country skiing! With 40 kilometres of slopes in the heart of the Mercantour National Park and in the Vallon valley, the northern area of Larche has everything to seduce the athletes - and the less sporty! You are upgrading on trails at varying levels of difficulty between 1700 and 2000 metres. Do we not feel tiny in this white and wild vastness?

The mountain is whimsical: it reserves a different face every season. Whether it's raining, selling, or snowing, physical training is all year round! If the motivation is not always high in winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoes can be excellent activities to give you a boost! The northern area of Beuil-les Launes, situated between 1500 and 2011 metres above sea level, has 25 kilometres of cross-country ski runs, divided into three tracks of various difficulties. The less trained will be able to embark on the trail of Sagne, while the experienced skiers will enjoy the two red tracks: those of Cumba Clava and the Saint John Plateau. As for walkers, rest assured that they are not left behind. The Beuil station also offers two marked and dammés circuits; We advise you in particular the Discovery itinerary, about two hours.

Hameau hamlet, Estenc is located at the source of the Var, between 1780 and 1850 metres of altitude. Its area of Nordic skiing stretches over 11 kilometres, offering the curious de the opportunity to try the joys of cross-country skiing without sweating blood and water. The Xivth National Park is located in the Beau National Park on a well-groomed and well-signposted route. How do we not taste the exercise in winter in the face of the so grandiose picture of snowy landscapes, still virgin from all human beings?

In the summer, you can enjoy a bucolic hike through the flowery meadows and spruce forests, while in the winter you can enjoy snowshoeing on the big white carpet. In all, more than 50 kilometers of marked trails crisscross the mountains: the Sestrières plateau, the Gialorgues valley, the Col d'Anelle... They are suitable for all levels, especially for families. An idea for a route? Opt for the Claffournier plateau, which you will cover in 2 hours: no doubt, you will not be disappointed!

Here is an easy loop to make in snowshoes from Ceillac. South facing, you will enjoy an ideal sunshine to enjoy, without freezing, the panorama on the village and the chain of Font Sancte. From the top of its 3385 m altitude, it is the culmination of the Régional Regional Natural Park. But do you know the geological origin of the Ceillac plain? It is, in fact, a former glacial lake filled by torrents of the torrents of Du and Cristillan. Huh eh? How, to spend outdoors always has an educational interest!

If in winter, the motivation for exercise is not always at its peak, the racket presents itself as an ideal way to continue to spend outdoors, at less cost and with always as much pleasure. The hiking path we offer here begins in front of Ane's Pas, slightly below the Foot du Col (Hamlet of the Villar-d'Arena commune). It addresses all audiences, beginners as well as more knowledgeable. If you are discreet, perhaps you will see some chamoix. If not, you will only be able to admire the man's glacier, which on its own merits the move.

Situated between 1400 and 1600 metres of altitude, the northern area of Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye enjoys an exceptional location between iscles and larch forests. In all, 25 kilometres of cross-country ski runs and 5 km of snowshoe trails; what you spend and make progress at your pace, taking advantage of the performance of Lady Nature in his great white coat… Even if you are not a seasoned sportsman, you will see that the training will never have been so pleasant!

The Ferrata is located in a very impressive wall 130 m high, and is not surprised by its very athletic side. You will start by crossing a tile that will use your arms to a game where you can rest a little. The second part is more sporty and discourages amateurs. Total difference of 600 m. 3 routes are possible: The Bear Discovery Itinerary (3 to 4 hours); The Coq du Coq route Sports and Air route (3 to 4 hours); The August Tower Very aerial and Athletic Route (5 to 6 hours). A wild and preserved framework.

A family resort that takes us to new heights in terms of skiing and snowboarding pleasure, with new features every year in an environment that is naturally protected from the wind and enjoys plenty of sunshine. The resort offers 35 slopes for a total of 75 km with a snowpark and a boardercross, all with a vertical drop of 1,550 m. Not to mention 3 illuminated runs for night skiing. As far as cross-country skiing is concerned, the Val d'Allos has a very popular Nordic area with 12 km of groomed and marked trails divided into two routes located at the foot of the village and the resort. Skiers must pay the compulsory fees at the Val d'Allos 1 400 - Allos ski lift ticket office, near the cross-country ski "info point". Walking and snowshoeing are forbidden on these trails, but marked routes reserved for walking and snowshoeing are available free of charge.

The ESF at Le Seignus has existed since 1973 and has the "Famille Plus Montagne" label. Its team of 18 permanent instructors increases to 45 during the vacations to satisfy the growing demand and to participate in the development of the resort. The group or individual lessons are well adapted to the level of practice of the students and according to the vacation periods. The ESF also offers off-piste skiing and a Nordic ski school for children aged 8 and up. For people with reduced mobility, the ESF offers sessions sitting on a ski chair, guided by an instructor.

Situated at an altitude of 1,450 m in the heart of the Monges massif, this nature resort offers activities and entertainment all year round. Le Fanget is the starting point for numerous hikes in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence geological reserve. You can also head off in the direction of the Clues de Barles or the Gorges de la Blanche, whatever the season. The inn offers discovery hikes, themed evenings and a treasure hunt for children. Don't miss the "Fangiflette", a tartiflette revisited as a house specialty.

Since 1990, Philippe Bugada, a state-patented escalator, has been trusted to gain the foundations for escalation and recall, to make progress, to become self-sufficient. You can also prefer to be guided on amazing strings, where discovery and adventure are the keywords, sometimes sporty, often aerial, always in a spirit of safety and respect for the environment. The range of benefits is expanded with even more vertiginous vertical hikes and one week internships in the Var and Verdon.
