The area consists of two water plans devoted to fly fishing. A graduate instructor will give you fishing lessons, if not a truite trout, perch black-bass or pike.

The Fréjus coastline extends over 7 kilometres and offers several beautiful beaches. Five of them are located in Fréjus itself (les Sablettes, République, le Capitole, Port-Fréjus and the beach of the nautical base); three others are located in Saint-Aygulf (plages de l'Argens, des Esclamandes and de la Galiote). With its 800 meters long and its comfortable width, Saint-Aygulf is one of the largest beaches of the territory of Eastern Var. Nice for families, it is also popular with kite surfers and windsurfers because the wind is frequent.

Locals call it Lac de Peyrolles, but it's actually a body of water, the former quarries having been transformed into a nautical base in 1997. Large grassy areas and picnic tables, sunbathing beaches, a fitness trail around the lake, and a refreshment bar - everything is in place for an enjoyable family outing. And let's not forget the water games and paddling pools for the kids, the beach volleyball court and the pétanque court - Provence obliges! There's also a water ski lift, where you can try your hand at knee boarding, water skiing or wake boarding.

Over 30 years' experience, supervision and equipment to make the most of the surrounding torrents, with most white-water activities: rafting, hydrospeed, hot-dog - inflatable canoe - or canyoning. This experienced office also organizes hiking tours to discover the flora and fauna, as well as via ferrata and quad biking. From the Durance to the Ubaye, via the Drac leisure park, the range is wide. We advise you to book a full day or even an adventure weekend.

Fed by the Mirail spring, Etang de la Bonde is the largest lake in the Luberon. Swimming is supervised from July¹ to August 31 on the main beach. In addition to the large beach near the campsite, there are a number of south-facing beaches at the foot of the Aleppo pine-wooded hillside, offering quieter, unsupervised swimming. In high season, it's best to go early in the morning. A few pedal-boats are available for the crossing.

Located in the bed of the Durance, on the municipalities of Curbans and La, this artificial lake was bottled in 1975 by EDF. The water plan is also fed by the water from the leak canal of the electricity production plant which flows into upstream. A 17-metre dam, used to regulate the waters of the Sisteron canal, was built downstream. You can stay in one of the two campsites on the East Bank, on the side of Cubans. Fishing is permitted in certain sectors (see conditions), like canoeing and bathing. Côté la Saulce, its west bank, consists of a relatively steep land dike. During migration in April-May and August-September, many naturist settled and observed birds with long views. The north bank has a relatively quiet plateau.

The lake of Castillon is 8 kilometers long and covers 500 hectares, set between the mountains. Under a blue sky (most of the time) the setting is splendid. A great number of nautical activities are practiced such as kayak, catamaran, water skiing, towed buoy... Night trips are also organized in canoe for the adventurous. Irresistible, with turquoise water, some beaches are equipped and supervised for the pleasure of young and old. Don't hesitate to explore the wild shores and to stop in some of the exotic creeks.

The Louis GO water sports base is located in an exceptional and particularly protected setting, in the middle of the steep cliffs of the Roquebrune rock. This municipal water sports base for canoeing and paddle boarding is supervised by state instructors, a real plus. Different formulas for renting canoes and kayaks and paddle boards are available, but it is advisable to book 3 or 4 days in advance. The only requirement for this type of activity is that you know how to swim! A shaded picnic area is at your disposal.

Located a stone's throw from the town centre of Vidauban, this 8-hectare area, which includes two bodies of water, offers a host of leisure and sports activities for the whole family. Water games, playground, petanque field, picnic area, ping-pong tables, walking tracks... are permanently and freely accessible to spend a very pleasant moment. In parallel to all these facilities, "the Drop-In Dracénie" offers outdoor activities for a fee and secure.

The fishermen of Grillon manage the small rivers of the Enclave des Papes, in the north of the Vaucluse, an area entirely surrounded by the Drôme. The majority of these rivers are in first category fish, and totally reciprocal. To be noted on the commune of Grillon in the heart of the Enclave, the lake of Lez, a site particularly well adapted to many animations promoting fishing. Spills of overcrowded trout. No need to go there for a family swim, it is strictly forbidden.

Located 1 km south-east of the village, this is a very pleasant place to fish. It extends over 2 hectares. Of course, trout are the main attraction. On the shores of the lake, you can enjoy picnics and beautiful walks, as this is the starting point for hikes to the Gorges de la Nesque. A GR bridle path joins the GR9, taking you to the ^12th-century chapel of Saint-Michel, which is well worth the detour. In the gorges you'll discover a world like no other. Fields of lavender, Provence's blue gold, stretch as far as the eye can see.

A leisure area, spread over 18 ha, developed on the water with a nautical area to enjoy the joys of swimming and an environment conducive to fitness. Are at your disposal: a sailing school, courses from 11 years old from April to October, supervised swimming in July and August. Guinguette, reception room, shaded terrace. A nice place to relax to spend the day, plan the picnic, the cap and the petanque balls.

This lowland river rises at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and flows into the Ouvèze after 32 km. It is the most regular of the department's small rivers. Its waters, long used to run mills (paper, flour and madder) and spinning mills, are now used for agriculture and leisure activities such as fishing and canoeing. The clarity and quality of the water, and its constant temperature of 13°C, make it a first-category river. Its waters have long been renowned for their trout.

This lake is a godsend in the region. Supervised swimming, water sports activities, waterside picnics, children's games, snack bars, pedal boats and even a fishing spot - it's all here! For meditation, around the lake or at the top of the Dune, a remarkable landscaped site offers visitors walking and discovery trails in a preserved natural setting. All year round, you can enjoy the variations with the seasons. From the heart of the reed beds, you can watch the ballet of kingfishers in the morning, the swallows that come to drink, the cormorants that dry their feathers on the Esplanade steps... On warm summer evenings, there's even an open-air cinema and sometimes a floating concert!

Water Glisse Passion is a water ski club located in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, in the town of Les Issambres. They offer a range of water sports activities including water skiing, wakeboarding, baby skiing, towed buoys, no-licence boat hire and pedalo hire. The watersports center has been awarded the Famille Plus label, which means that it offers activities suitable for families and children aged 3 to 12, supervised by qualified staff and using appropriate equipment.
