Created in 1952 on the seafront, the Cagnes-sur-Mer racecourse is one of the most famous in France, and the^1st provincial racecourse. With a total surface area of 60 hectares, it organizes 600 horse races every year and hosts prestigious events such as the Grande Journée de l'Obstacle, the Grand Prix du Département 06 and the Grand Critérium de Vitesse. Enjoy lunch at the gourmet restaurant "Le Pesage", the brasserie "Le Paddock" or the food-trucks.

More spectacular, faster and even faster at night (on Fridays), the second largest racecourse in Marseille (after the one in Borély), created over 70 years ago, has more than 13,000 seats. The polytrack track allows higher speeds to be achieved. The racecourse has its flagship race, the Gaston Deferre Prize, which is held in June. Meetings are essentially galloping or mounted trotting races. The restaurant with its panoramic view is ideal for watching the races, very warm, especially since it is possible to bet without having to travel

The Hippodrome d'Oraison, also known as the Hippodrome de la Durance, is a racecourse located in Oraison, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of France. Created in 1909, it is the only racecourse in the region. Its excellent location, close to the A51 freeway and the SNCF train station, makes it easily accessible. The racecourse is used by local and departmental associations for horse and greyhound racing. It is renowned for its shady, leafy setting and high-quality facilities. Notable races held there include the Trophée Vert stage. The racecourse has a 1,000-meter grass track for gallop races, as well as a trotting track. It also offers services such as light catering.

The Deffends-Sault racecourse is a must for horse racing enthusiasts. Founded in 1904, the company that manages the racecourse celebrated its centenary in 1994. Nestled at the foot of Mont Ventoux, at an altitude of over 800 metres, this racecourse is unique in its kind, with its lavender field at the center. Meetings at Deffends-Sault are held on a grass track. The gallop track measures 850 meters, with a 250-meter straightaway and a width of 12 meters. The trotting track is 830 meters long, with a straight line of 220 meters and a width of 10 meters. The racecourse has two boxes and a snack bar. For horse racing fans, the Deffends-Sault racecourse is a must-see when visiting Sault.

The hippodrome of Cavaillon is a small country hippodrome with a friendly atmosphere. The trotting track is 1,200 metres long. It is a pleasant place where you can of course follow the horse races and indulge your passion or discover it, beware you are quickly caught up in the game! but also you come to relax with friends, have a drink or a bite to eat and admire the horses! Numerous events are regularly organized there.
