The best bookshops Myanmar - Burma

Coup de coeur Petit Smart. This store is worth visiting. Much more désordonné than the Bagan Book House, it nevertheless abounds with little wonders about Myanmar. Similarly, books and novels in English and numerous guides in all languages (French also) on Myanmar. Prices are reasonable.

If you don't have books to give, why not buy on-site in a charity… Shwe Yong Kale is a charming book of interesting children's books, educational and fun for kids. Yinthway Foundation is a small NGO, a resource centre for child development. They have more than 70 titles to date. Some are black and white, others in colour. Some titles have been written by Burmese, including more than 14 stories developed and illustrated by children aged 8 and 9 and others are translated from English.
