Getting around by train Sardinia

Sassari: a dozen trains a day. Duration: about 45 minutes. 20 €.

In terms of transport links (including rail and car), Oristano is fairly well connected to the rest of the island, with many trains passing through daily. The small station dates back to 1872.

Cagliari: around ten departures a day. Journey time between 1h and 1h30.

Sassari : around 7 departures a day, including 3 direct services. Journey time approx. 2h20.

Olbia : approx. 6 departures per day, including 4 direct. Journey time 3h.

Macomer: approx. 10 departures per day. Journey time between 45 min and 1h20.

Alghero: no direct solution, via Sassari.

Cagliari/Airport: one train every 15 to 20 minutes between 5.30 am and 11.10 pm. Journey: 10 min.
