WWOOF (Willing Worker on Organic Farms or World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) is a worldwide organization that offers members the chance to work on organic farms. You generally work three to five hours a day, in exchange for room and board. It's an excellent way of living as close as possible to the locals, while acquiring knowledge of organic farming in all sectors. It's a human experience that's often rich in terms of cultural exchange and knowledge sharing.
