The Tripolis is located on the floor of a patio, north of the old renovated Ottoman residence Dar Yahzazrkom, so it can be accessed from Souk and Turk Street. Hajj Hmad is a popular figure that appears daily on Libyan television during the festivities of the month of Ramadan to entertain families. The Hajj Hmad canteen is more famous for tourists. This new establishment has a great success with the tourist groups because of its ideal position facing the museum and can quickly display complete. It offers classic menus (soups, couscous, etc.). The room is nicely decorated, cheerful and very clean. You can also enjoy a coffee or tea.

This Turkish restaurant, which opened in 2007, specialises in grilled meats, but there are also good skewers, pizzas, Turkish breads in cheese or meat. A good chawarma chawarma served with soup and salad costs 9 DL. The dessert includes oriental pastries (kounaffa, etc.) and Turkish specialities based on milk, rice, honey and almonds.
