Associations for travelers Bolivia

In Sama's Cordillera Reserve, a rural tourism network project was initiated between the Andean countries Bolivia, Argentina and Venezuela, funded by the CODESPA Foundation and the CFO (financial institution). This project led to the creation of a community tourism association ACOTURS that manages community hostels (see "Accommodation"). ACOTURS also offers guidance services with local guides.

Prometa is a private non-profit association working for the conservation of biodiversity and sustainable development. It works in collaboration with government institutions, associations and communities in the sound management of natural resources. Its scope is located in the protected areas of the department of Tarija. It intervenes in the development of communities and conducts environmental education programs.
