The first edition of Visa For Music was held in Rabat from November 12 to 15 and we were there! This professional music market, dedicated to Africa and the Middle East, has included debates, films and concerts. 24 artists from African and Arab countries, previously selected by a jury of experts, took to the stage in front of a large audience. Among them, the real revelation for us is Mashrou'Leila, a Lebanese rock band with wild rhythms and whose suave-voiced singer tackles non-consensual themes. In particular, he advocates greater freedom of morals in the Arab world. Mashrou'Leila already has many fans in the Middle East but is still little known in the rest of the world. In any case, he conquered the Moroccan public and us!
