Surely one of the most beautiful vineyards of the region! Mr. Gerovassiliou, a renowned winemaker, has saved the Greek Malagousia grape variety from extinction. Since 1981, he has been producing in his 90-hectare vineyard, a few dozen kilometers from Thessaloniki, one of the most renowned wines in Greece. On the program: guided tour of the estate and its cellar, wine tasting with their dedicated accompaniment, visit of the fascinating museum on the history of wine. A little extra, this winemaker has the largest collection of corkscrews in the world... Not to be missed!

You will love this vineyard, the oldest on the island, which dates back to 1836. After pushing the door, you will discover the beautiful shaded garden where tastings of (very good) red, white and rosé wines are held, accompanied by cheeses. On the left, the cellar is magnificent with its huge barrels, old instruments, period photos and a crown of dry vine wood. At the back of the property, an open-air space is dedicated to Greek music concerts as well as theatrical and puppet shows.

This winery opened less than 10 years ago to take advantage of the unique terroir of Samothrace and its vineyards. The winery tour will allow you to learn more about the local wines, and the winemaking process developed here. After a stroll through the vineyards and cellars, you will taste some of the house wines, which are also available for sale. The place is serene and chic, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Aegean. A visit is an interesting alternative activity on the island of the Great Gods.

This winery is located 2 km south of Christos Rahon. In the summer, people come here all day and evening to taste the house wines, which are made in accordance with the Ikariot wine-making traditions augmented by modern winemaking capabilities. The two local grape varieties, Fokiano and Begleri, are grown here. Guided tours of the winery with wine tasting are offered (50-90 min), without reservation in summer. The wine bar is open to all: you can taste the house wines, accompanied by platters of local organic products.

The Karimalis family took over these lands more than 20 years ago to create the estate that we know today, in keeping with the thousand-year-old wine tradition of Ikaria. After an informative tour of the vineyards in the golden light of the setting sun, you will taste the production of the house, which prides itself on producing one of the best organic and natural wines of the island from a local variety of grapes. To accompany these wines, delicious homemade mezzes are to be shared: they feature the ingredients of the farm.
