Canefield (DCF) is one of Dominica's two airports, located 5 km north of the capital Roseau (about 15 minutes by car), on the island's west coast. This small airport with its 945-meter runway is served by private flights and a few Caribbean airlines. Most commercial flights go to Douglas-Charles (DOM), the second airport, formerly Melville Hall, in the northeast of the island. A new international airport is currently under construction near Douglas-Charles and is due to open in 2026.

Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM), formerly Melville Hall, is located in the northeast of Dominica. The journey from the airport to the capital Roseau takes about 1 hour. It welcomes most visitors, including those of the Caribbean airline Air Antilles. Most commercial flights land here. The other airport, Canefield (DCF), with its 945-meter runway (maximum 19-seat aircraft), is only served by a few airlines and private flights.
