FÊTE DE L'INDÉPENDANCE

A national day day, on 26 March, commemorates the unilateral declaration of independence of Bangladesh by Major Zia on the airwaves. Followed by 9 months of open war with Pakistan. This day is the occasion of a procession gathering the political personalities of the country and hundreds of visitors to the Nation Memorial of the Nation in Savar.
