FESTIVAL THÉ ET ÉPICES

It is the oldest folk festival in Uzbekistan. It takes place during one week in different places of the "Pearl of Islam" and honors, through shows and exhibitions, the traditional costumes and dances, crafts and gastronomy of Uzbekistan. Despite a very touristy side, since few Uzbeks attend the events, it is one of the best cultural events of the country, and gives beautiful colors to the historic center of Bukhara while bringing a little life in the great monuments!
