This art gallery opened in 2017 offers a very nice collection of products from all over the country (mainly artists' paintings but also ceramics, designer dresses...). We will find functional objects of everyday life, others purely decorative, some having been revisited to stick to the tastes or customs of the 21st century and it is rather successful overall. There are also many paintings with a slightly more mitigated invoice. We stroll with pleasure in this gallery where we finally get a glimpse of many things.

Avoid the Chinese "made in China" souvenir stores that abound in Samarkand and come instead to hunt in this delightful grouping of traditional houses where Elena Ladik, a designer and jack-of-all-trades working with textiles, including silk, wrought iron, ceramics among a delightful bric-a-brac of antiques, officiates. Each garment or accessory is reinterpreted in its own way to become a unique piece combining tradition, character and originality. In 2019 Davlat Toshev undertook the restoration of a caravanserai that had been abandoned since independence. The result is commensurate with the investment made, and offers an exceptional setting for the twenty or so students it welcomes to pass on its knowledge and experience. We can only strongly recommend that you go and meet them and linger on their work, displayed in the different rooms. Warm welcome and a great experience guaranteed.
