A special effort is provided by the Embassy services to update information on Uzbekistan every week. In addition to the practical information that can be used to organize your trip, you will be able to inform you, before and after your stay, of the significant events linking France and Uzbekistan with the different fields of economic, political and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The first French Honorary Consulate in Central Asia is administered in Samarkand by the French-speaking director of Zamin Travel, Isrofil Usanov, who has been appointed Honorary Consul. The consular agency assists French citizens in case of health problems, theft or loss of identity documents and other possible problems encountered during their stay. It also provides administrative information if necessary. For all intents and purposes, the agency does not issue visas.
