Bhawani scours the small villages of the Thar desert for old pieces assembled in patchwork. Kripal Kumbh is a unique pottery and ceramic workshop. The artisans who work here carry on the tradition of "Jaipur blue pottery". They were trained by the master Kripal Singh Shekhawat, a world-renowned craftsman who is quoted in the art market. He passed away in 2008, but left behind his know-how and the art of blue, inspired by Persian blue and brought by the Mughals. The prices are high, because Kripal Kumbh is the only workshop that still has the secrets of manufacturing.

Habib's family specializes in pashmina, those Himalayan goat wool stoles... but not only. In this small store, you will find everything you need to please your loved ones: stoles, shawls, carpets, paper mache objects, leather clothes... As everywhere else, haggle over the prices and you should leave with your arms full. Habib or his son Yassin can even pick you up at your hotel. A simple phone call is enough, of course, you are not obliged to buy!

The welcome is warm and the staff will explain the philanthropic approach of the place. A small museum allows to make the link between the old and the new models. Thanks to 500 craftswomen from 7 different ethnic groups, the models are constantly renewed. Surely the best in terms of quality.
