All the hotels in Doha and Qatar in general are good deals, if you compare the standard of the complexes with the prices charged. Especially the "modest" 4-star hotels in central Doha. You won't find anything for less than US$60 to US$70, but at this price, you get comfortable, impeccable rooms and often a spa associated with a gym, hammam, parking lot and so on. As soon as the warmer months arrive, from June to September, prices are slashed due to the ambient heat and the lack of outside visitors. The same applies during the month of Ramadan.
To be booked
There are plenty of hotels, and the country is not very popular with tourists, so there's no need to book in advance, unless you fall into a particular week with major trade shows or diplomatic delegations on business.
For food lovers
Breakfasts are usually extra, unless you specifically book a room with a morning snack included, especially on international hotel booking sites.
