The Festival des Vendanges is a must for wine lovers, offering tastings, shows and workshops.

The Fiesta de la Vendimia (harvest) is an annual celebration of the grape harvest and wine production in Uruguay. It usually takes place in February or March in the Canelones wine region. This event celebrates the grape harvest and allows visitors to taste local products such as wine, of course, but also sausages, cheeses and olive oils. A parade of carts and beautiful old cars parade along the Rambla Costanera, with the candidates for the title of Queen of the Vendimia on board.
