Small restaurant located in the shade of a big tree (hence its name) that serves delicious vegetarian food. Here, we like natural things: fresh vegetables, healthy preparations, friendly staff, all in a cosy and simple atmosphere. The house serves generous vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes that will delight even carnivores. The menu is varied and inspired by all the cuisines of the world: teriyaki tofu, vegetable couscous, spaghetti and lasagna, tofu and nut burger, Mediterranean salad, soups and sandwiches.

Hidden in a residential area, in the very peaceful garden of a simple house, you walk through the gate as if you were going to a friend's house. The menu is quite copious (like the plates) and original. You can compose your wrap or hashbrown (fried potato pancake) by adding a whole series of ingredients (avocado, cheese, fried onions, etc.). The calamansi juice is very refreshing. And the prices are more than reasonable. On the walls of the restaurant, works by local artists. The best vegetarian in Dumaguete!

At the same time a vegan café-restaurant and a youth hostel, Wonderland is a real living place where many activities are organized such as yoga classes, campfires or beach cleaning sessions. We like the huge bamboo hut aspect open on the outside. A slight Japanese touch sets the tone, at the entrance you take off your shoes before joining one of the futons and sitting around a table on the ground. The dishes are original, worked and to fall. Paliton Beach and its legendary sunsets are 300 meters away.

Bontoc's first real restaurant is a pizzeria serving oven-baked pizzas. Because dusty mountain roads are hard on the stomach! A pleasant surprise and a welcome stop-off that was missing in the village. On the menu, the classic margherita, but for the more adventurous, especially Filipino or even Indian-inspired recipes mixing pineapple and bacon, 4-viandes, or the Longganisa based on spicy sausage, a few vegetarian options and also pasta. It's a cosy and popular address in the village.

Located in Casa Vallejo, a historic 1909 hotel, this restaurant has a chic chalet atmosphere. They serve cuisine that perfectly blends Filipino and international influences. They are particularly famous for their paella Negra and paella Valencia, their spicy shrimps and on the Filipino side, the Bistek filipino with caramelized onions and a lemon soy sauce. Also a breakfast and dessert menu. Hill Station has also opened Bistro at Camp John Hay.

Gaia is Sagada's first vegan and zero-waste restaurant, serving inventive cuisine. You can also try coffee made from soy or rice. The place became famous since the shooting of a local soap opera in 2014, since then it has not been empty. The service can be particularly long at noon, when tourists come here for lunch on their way up from the caves. To fill the wait, the restaurant / cafe-library enjoys a beautiful view of the rice fields below and houses a small souvenir store.

Near the tourist office. On a narrow balcony bathed by the sun, you can have lunch hanging from your stool, your eyes riveted on the superb panorama over the city. The menu is varied (Western and Filipino cuisine), the cooking is very well done (breakfasts, sandwiches, rice, meats and vegetarian options). And the portions are delicious. In season, try the sautéed pechay, the local cabbage. The rooms are basic but nice and have private bathrooms.

Leo has never set foot in America but sings Elvis with heart. Incidentally it is also him who cooks and ensures the service in this small eatery. We love the kitsch decoration mixing Igorot fabrics, frilly curtains and disco balls. One of our favorite restaurants in Banaue, as well frequented by tourists as locals. The rooms are in the pure Banaue style, i.e. basic and comfortable. Good value for money.

Located on the first floor of the Red Planet Hotel, this is a restaurant that celebrates fresh seasonal and mainly local produce. Breakfast is excellent. You can choose from juices and smoothies to fill you up with vitamins, or homemade waffles with bacon and fresh fruit. As for the food, it's more of a Western cuisine, with a selection of pastas, burgers, fish and chips, as well as meats and seafood. We like the cosy atmosphere and the designer interior.

the slogan of this chain, already established in Manila and Siargao, is "The healthy alternative", and we couldn't agree more! Just a stone's throw from Alona beach, in a bright, natural setting, this little café offers 100% gourmet vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Ultra-vitamin smoothie bowls, vegan burgers to make carnivores salivate, bowls filled with vegetables, legumes, cereals and plant proteins to fill up on energy, fresh fruit juices... In short, a fresh and invigorating place to try!

Here is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant (quite rare in Legazpi). Located in a former garage and open on the street, it is true that it does not look like much and yet! Here is a family address which serves excellent food and classics of the Philippine cuisine revisited in vegetarian version and that, it does not happen every day so you have to enjoy it! The sizzling sisig is amazing (normally a typical pork-based dish) and convinces even the carnivores. Delicious burger too. Very nice address and very reasonable prices!

This restaurant hidden between exotic trees is worth a visit. Here, the concept "from the farm to the plate" really applies: the ingredients come from the garden (we advise you to visit it). Not surprisingly, you can enjoy a fresh and tasty cuisine. Our recommendation? The flower salad, as beautiful as it is good and the Cassava lumpia, everything is refined and homemade. On the side of the atmosphere, the view on the sea is magic while the rustic and colored decoration pleased us well. Some superb rooms also. To be tested.

Here's an address that feels good in Manila's somewhat monotonous culinary landscape: a vegan restaurant, yes, but a Filipino restaurant nonetheless! When it opened in 2018, Cosmic had at heart to make vegetarian cuisine accessible to Filipinos so unused to not eating meat. And the bet is successful since the place (which has since become 100% vegan) is always full and a second address has opened in Pasig. On the menu, the classics revisited and delicious!

This is one of Camiguin's healthy addresses! In this cosy little café with a relaxed atmosphere, the emphasis is on healthy, vegetarian and even vegan cuisine, with a few fish dishes as well. Alongside the must-try smoothies, homemade granola, matcha tea and the use of superfoods (oats, chia seeds...), there are Israeli and Mediterranean options full of flavor and indulgence. Everything is good, beautifully presented and hearty. To start or continue your day with plenty of energy!

Taste is the first 100% vegan café in El Nido. An intimate space with a "loft-chic" spirit where you can sit around low tables on an artificial grassy area upstairs. On the menu, invigorating and vitamin-packed breakfasts based on excellent coffees (try the soy milk cappuccinos) and smoothie bowls, a colorful mix of fresh fruits, seeds and antioxidants of all kinds. But also wraps and pastas, as good as beautiful, in addition to being healthy and not very expensive. To fill up on energy at any time of the day!

In Siargao, Shaka Café is located directly on Cloud 9. It's housed in a beach bungalow, with that extra touch of coolness we love so much. We recommend going there especially in the morning for their breakfast of champions, beautiful and good. On the menu: fresh fruit juices, smoothies, granola bowls with yoghurt and exotic fruits. At lunchtime, fabulous 100% vegetarian and ultra-gourmet burgers await you. The place is very chill. It's healthy, appetizing and, as is often the case in the Philippines, inexpensive.

On the top floor of, we come across this oasis of wood and greenery. It is the most popular vegetarian restaurant in Baguio, with very low prices. It serves simple food, based on pasta, noodles and local red rice. The ingredients are fresh and local. The menu also includes a banana flower burger (KKK sliders). On clear days, the balcony offers a beautiful view of downtown. Once a month, there are exhibits and all works are for sale to benefit the Victor Otezya Community Art Space. Worth a visit!

A surprising address, in the good sense of the word! Located 10 minutes walk from the pier where the ferries leave for the neighboring islands, the reputation of this discreet restaurant is well established. It is even said that it is the best vegetarian restaurant of all Cebu. So we did not test all the restaurants but indeed everything here is absolutely delicious. The ramen, the tofu sizzlig or tofu teryaki dishes served in small banana leaves bags, or the Veefy Burger, everything is a pure delight. To be tried before or after a ferry!

Maxine by The Sea, which has been located on the waterfront in Lucap for over 30 years, is one of the best places to eat in the area. We come here as much for its pleasant terrace that looks out over the sea and offers a beautiful view of the Hundred Islands as for tasting crab and lobster, on fresh and tempting seafood platters. And at very reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity! It is also a lodge where it is possible to spend the night in one of the nine rooms (even if we have a preference for the restaurant).
