Historically, Spaniards, Amerindians and descendants of African slaves, but also since the nineteenth century, Italians, Arabs, Germans, French, British and Asian, Argentines have very diverse origins. All of us have a strong common identity. Because Argentina is a name that rhymes with tango, Maradona, gauchos of the pampa… always perennial and well-deserved clichés, because beyond Latin nostalgia, Argentines live in a modernity tinted with traditions surprisingly anchored in everyday life.

Thus, on Carlos Gardel's warm and suave voice and the melancholic sound of the bandonon, the Porteños still dance tango in the milongas of Buenos Aires. In this country, the pelota (round balloon) is a religion, stadiums overflowing with unbridled supporters and the football debate is taken very seriously. Far from the city lights, pampa gauchos do not wear their beautiful traditional costumes for tourist folklore, but to parade on their horses on Sunday. In Salta, the rooms dance to the sound of the traditional polyphonic guitars and songs of the chacarera or zamba, in a whirlpool of scarves. But beyond these cultural differences, a ritual unites all Argentines: Parrilla, this barbecue developed in art of perfect cooking of meat, slowly, which each family has its little secrets. It is watered with a good wine, a Malbec of the land, fruity and tannic, which is the pride of Mendoza's winemakers.

Another undeniable tourist attraction is: this huge land is rich in extraordinary landscapes. Imagine: 3,700 km from north to south, 1,400 km east to west, a country five times large like France. Difficult to see, but we can discover its most spectacular sites, such as Iguazú and its impressive falls that throw themselves into the jungle, the Perito Moreno glacier, in Patagonia, and its huge blocks of ice that collapse in a sinister, a land of hostile and peeled fire in Ushuaia. Going back to the Andes Cordillera, you can admire the Aconcagua, the highest summit in the Americas, and then become lost in the redness of the great canyon of Talampaya towards the Rioja, in the mountains of cactus in the calchaquial valley, in the salt deserts of the Salinas Grande and of the altiplano… and lots of other unequaled land beauties.
