A festival in the vicinity of the Banc d'Arguin that addresses environmental issues, including coastal management.

Organized by the Mauritanian Association for the Development of Benichab and similar villages in November or December, this festival focuses on environmental issues through a series of sports competitions, concerts and Arabic poetry recitals. It is an event sponsored by WACA, a West African coastal management program. Bénichab is located halfway between Akjoujt and the Banc d'Arguin.
